Well, we will get the bad out of the way first. This week was a very emotional one. We lost a very dear family member/friend. You don’t realize how much you love someone and wish you would have spent more time with them, until they are no longer with you. We will miss him and think of him always. So many things in this town remind us of you. We love you and you have left an impression on our hearts deeper than you will ever know! See you later Cory
We have been in a daze since the 4th and I haven’t had much time to update, but here goes! For the most part the 4th was good. The weather was nice and we got to spend it with my family and our friends. We finally were able to make it to the cross and plant the flowers that we usually get planted memorial weekend! I also had a lot of time off which was nice to get to spend it with my little peanut. We didn’t get much done around the house (in fact, part of our suitcase is still packed… oops) but we did get to spend some time with family.
Addilynn got to go to Chuck E Cheese today with some of her great aunts and Great Gma and Gpa. She had a blast and was exhausted when she got home. Her experience with the mouse came with mixed emotions. Once her sleepy head attitude wore off she told us all about her meeting with the masked mouse! She was excited to tell us he gave her a high five and that she blew him kisses she showed us her tattoos and wouldn’t let me pry her shirt off her body. Then when it was time to go to bed something in her mind changed about the mouse and I will not be surprised if she has nightmares about him! She started screaming on the potty that Chuck E Cheese was coming to get her. She went into panic mode and almost fell right off the pot. We had to talk her down and explain to her that he was at his home and he couldn’t leave there and we only went to visit when we wanted to. Do you think our two year old understood??? Well, lets hope so!
Addilynn has been very snotty since about 4 days after she turned two. Everything is now NO or uh uh and she only sleeps, eats, potties, and gets dressed when she wants. She is now calling things stupid (starting with my poor niece, after which she proceeded to tell me she doesn’t like babies) and ending with anything that ticks the little princess off. She ends her snotty orders by saying.. Ok… K. For example, she will say, “mom don’t touch my baby… ok… K.” I almost feel like I’m the goober that should know better! She is getting really good at rolling her eyes, stomping her feet, kicking the walls, and screaming bloody murder. So if I thought she hit the terrible 2s before boy was I wrong. Even with all the funny yet snotty things she is doing these days she is still learning so fast and growing up even faster. We are both amazed by the things she says and does everyday! We are very blessed (and cursed I might add) to have such a smart strong willed child.

How could Addilynn not get mad at this face?? My niece Camber

At Uncle Brian’s cross. The girls are wearing last years 4th dresses that Lisa had made for them!

They do love each other! We put the idea in their heads!

Mommy and Baby!

We got to spend some much needed time with my grandparents that we don’t see very often! My mom, her mom and Bill!
