Step up for DS walk and Camp weekend!

Dustin, Addilynn, and I had a very busy weekend once again. We participated in our second Step up for Down Syndrome walk formerly the Buddy Walk. We had a blast and the kids had fun too! We got to stay the night with our good friends Kyle, Alaina, and Beau Friday night in their new house. We enjoyed getting to spend some time with them all. Auntie Paige and Auntie Doe Doe even did the walk. Hopefully they come back next year.

My little kitty cat! Addilynn and I went on a ride just the two of us when we got to camp and we had so much fun! She did not want me to wipe off her kitty face, so I had to sneak wash her face in the tub she didn’t know it was gone until we brushed teeth last night in the mirror and she was devastated. My poor little baby girl didn’t understand why she had to be a toddler and not a kitty. 

This may be my favorite picture ever taken! I love the colors and it makes my heart melt to see the two of them together. I think this one needs to be on the cover of a magazine. Addilynn was trying to see more elk after papa got his elk this weekend! We were so excited for him now hopefully they wont starve this winter.

Best day of the week! 9/21/11

Wednesday is my favorite day of the week! I love having a day off in the middle of the week to enjoy my fast moving and not to mention fast growing toddler! Auntie Kadee let me borrow her camera and we had lots of fun taking pictures with it. Thanks Auntie you may not get it back for a bit! This Wednesday Addilynn and I were busy busy girls. We had a play date with Kelby at the park, visited great grandparents, and celebrated Auntie Doe Doe’s 21st birthday by going out to dinner at Casa. Here are few pictures of our week

Addilynn on her second ice cream cone from her great grandma Mary boy does this kid love her ice cream. Addilynn got to enjoy the newspaper with grandma and even got to see her family in there. She even got to pick some veggies out of the garden with her great grandpa Murl.

Addilynn was sporting her new boots from Janie (which are about 6 sizes to big), and her new S.T.E.P.S. hat from her Grammy. I think her Grammy won this hat at her Omoksee last weekend. Addilynn was in heaven she is my future cowgirl! I can’t wait. We had to hide the boots from her for a bit until they fit because if they are in her line of sight she will wear them all day even to bed which ends in a lot of tears.

Two Partial Weekends of Camping

Addilynn roasting her dinner over the fire! We are getting close to the end of our camping season and we are getting sad. Winter is not our favorite time of year because it doesn’t involve camping, 4-wheeling, and playing outside in the sunshine. We are trying to enjoy as much time at camp as possible. Here are some pictures from the last couple weekends of camping. We were only able to go up from Saturday to Sunday but anytime we can get up to our little piece of Heaven, we do!

Addilynn got to fall asleep by the fire. She loved it! She and her sister (the dog) got to share a blanket by warm fire while mommy and daddy enjoyed some fall camping just the two of us! Addilynn also got to experience her first walk through a culvert. I made it through too but I had to work really hard to keep my mind from picturing all the spiders hiding in the dark!

Addilynn sure loves her doggy! The two of them are rarely apart. Poor sister puts up with a lot from her little master!

Addilynn decided to take one last (or so we think) dip in the creek. As you can see it was fairly cold out since she was in snow pants and a long sleeve shirt, but she didn’t seem to mind. She was loving it. Poor kid is going to be sad when we can’t enjoy our creek front property!

Nona had a birthday celebration at camp and Addilynn got to help blow out the candles!

Homecoming 2011

Last week was Auntie Jaylee and Uncle Dj’s homecoming. We went to two volleyball games and a football game! Addilynn got a ball from Auntie on Thursday which she absolutely loves! Addilynn calls it her “vol ball” Here are some pictures from both volleyball and football.

Here are a few from football both uncle Dj and cousin Jordan did great! We were so proud of them both! I was having a hard time being able to tell which boy was who they all look the same!

Auntie Jaylee was nominated for Homecoming royalty. She looked very pretty in her dress! I was bummed because I couldn’t get a very good picture since it was so dark. Great job Auntie!
