In August we celebrated Addilynn’s Mimi’s birthday. We went out to dinner at Casa and Addilynn loved to run on the golf green it must have felt good under her bare feet! This was the night she got her back pack taken away! Addilynn decided to pee on the deck at the restaurant which is a big NO NO! After that day she hasn’t had any big accidents at home for fear she may loose her “ferarelly backpack” aka Cinderelly backpack!
You and me go fishing in the dark: Addilynn also got to try her hand at fishing again! She caught two fish this night and we finally had to go home because it was too dark to see! As you can tell the dark didn’t scare her she was having a blast playing in the water that was freezing cold! We love our little family outings just the three of us!
Dustin had a softball tournament in which his team won first place! Addilynn was a trooper and played in the dirt and sunshine almost all day! We had a BBQ the night before at Pete and Shena’s to hang out with the team. It was fun, but Addilynn chose to stay awake the whole time we were there. She didn’t fall asleep until after 11 which is very late for a little munchkin.
Addilynn and I went to Spokane to visit our Papa Buzz who had a stroke. He was doing great and Addilynn loved to show off for him in the room. She was saying “papa Buzz watch this!” then she would do all sorts of tricks from running and jumping to climbing on the chair. She also saw the church on the hill and said to Paige, “there’s Ferarelly’s castle!” It was so cute! After our visit we went to see Alaina, Beau, Jake, and Nanny M. we loaded up into Alaina’s car and went to see their new house! We are very excited for them it is a very nice house and we can’t wait to come stay with them!
Addilynn is still busy amazing us everyday. She is learning leaps and bounds. Some of the things she is doing now:
Counting to 13 and then stumbling a bit after that, getting better with colors, repeating everything, singing any song that comes on the radio, getting very sassy, whining a ton(we have even got her trained to show us what whining sounds like so she will stop), riding her bike with training wheels, getting ready to start big kid gymnastics Thursday, and making us laugh and stealing our hearts every second of the day!
