Visit to the Park 2/2/13

The sun came out so we went out! It was freezing cold but thought we would take the opportunity to get some fresh air. Paisley went for a ride on the merry-go-round and Addilynn loved going down the slide!

Trip to Spokane/ Artwork

We went over to Spokane to stay with Jake and Nanny M when Jake was home. It was so nice to catch up it was long overdue. We did the normal running around and took the kiddos to see the aquarium at Cabela’s. We also went out to dinner with Shena, Pete, and baby Pete.

This painting was my favorite! I had Addilynn explain her artwork to me and she labeled everything even down to the “pee pee” She is quite the artist!! The funny thing is that it was supposed to be her!

Sledding Party Madness! 12/29/12

We went to a sledding party at Rick and Cris’ house after Christmas. We had a great time! Addilynn had the best time of all. She did some awesome sledding with the older girls. Daddy had to work the next day so it was a fairly early night but it was so nice to catch up with friends we hadn’t seen in awhile.

Last but not Least!

I am finally finishing up the Christmas posts!!! Thank goodness I got it done before March. The last night we spent at Mimi and Poppy’s house. Once again the girls were spoiled rotten! I am beginning to see a theme! It is so nice to get to spread the holiday out so that we can spend time with our individual families. The holidays are so chaotic it just makes it a more enjoyable night! Most people aren’t as lucky as we are to have so many people wanting us at the same time. Thanks to all the family that understands our busy schedules. This was the perfect wrap up to the perfect Christmas holiday!

 

Christmas Night

Christmas night we headed over to Nanny and Bapa’s house. We had another wonderful night and but had to get back because daddy had to work the next day. The girls were spoiled and so were we!

Christmas Morning

This is my favorite day of the Christmas holiday! This is the morning where we have decided that we don’t go anywhere. It is such a relief to know we get to spend at least 6 whole hours not rushing not driving not doing anything but enjoying our little family!!! It is the most amazing thing to see the girls excited about their presents. Ok well Paisley didn’t have a clue what was going on but Addilynn did and made the holiday so special.

Santa came for two beautiful/good little girls. Paisley got an elephant that blows balls from its nose and Addilynn got an easy bake oven.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was crazy like every holiday we started the day at Mimi and Poppy’s and then ended the night at Aunt B’s house. Daddy had to work so he didn’t get to dinner until 4. Addilynn didn’t quite understand the white elephant game but for a three year old did amazing with the fact that she didn’t get all the presents. She is such a good girl!

Addilynn had a blast playing with all of her cousins at Aunt B’s house and got to sit on Santa’s lap for the last time. Camber, Harlen, and Addilynn ran around all night together and I can’t wait to see them playing together every year! I remember as a kid looking forward to dinners with my family because I got to hang out with my cousin. I am so excited for her to have the same bond with her cousins! It was nice to get to see everyone but exhausting like every other holiday! We are so blessed to have so many family members that want to spend time with us.

 

When we got home stayed true to our own family tradition that the kiddos get to fall asleep out in front of the tree. I was so bummed that I didn’t get a family picture this year laying together on the floor. It is so much fun to have our own family traditions.
