Taking the Camper to Camp

Looking back on these pictures to update is bittersweet. It is great remembering the good memories we made, but sad to remember how much my heart still aches over the loss of our sister dog. I can’t believe how much emotion comes back when looking at her sweet face. This was a great day at camp one we will cherish for years to come.

The crazy girls played in the freezing cold creek while Kila watched over them from the bank.

This melts my heart what a good daddy she has!

The girls got along so well this day. They were best of buds playing together and keeping each other company while we set up the camper.

Addilynn still misses her friend and almost every night especially when she is tired she cries for her. I realized tonight again how much I miss her to. There will never be another Kila. We were so blessed to have her in our lives.

Gymnastics Recital 5/17

The kids all got to do vault floor and beam routines. It was fun for Addilynn to be able to show all of her family what she’s learned since not everyone can go to the meets.

Addilynn’s First Mock Gymnastics Meet 4/26

This was the first taste of competitive gymnastics for Miss A. She did so good. It was a great experience for all the kids. She did get bored during awards and suck a hickey on her arm! I cant remember exactly what she scored, but she did great! 

Afterward we ate at the peanut place which is Addilynn’s favorite place.

Easter Eggs and Easter Egg Hunts

The Easter bunny came on a Wednesday since daddy had to work on Easter and the girls loved looking for the eggs. We ended up eating a lot of Paisley’s because beef cake couldn’t help but break them! I love watching the joy in their eyes over traditions like this! On actual Easter day we went over to brunch in Post Falls with Papa Buzzy. Brunch was great but Paisley ended up dislocating her elbow so we spend the afternoon in the ER. After about a 30 second visit from the Dr. at KMC she was good to go with a popsicle in hand! We raced home to visit with some more family.

Spring Break (part 2)

 

Going to attempt to update lets see how far I can get and how much I can forget!

We enjoyed many hours on the beach, visited seaside aquarium, crabbed, clammed, ate, and enjoyed lots of family time! It was one of the best vacations ever.

Burr… It was sure cold and we caught lots of crab but not a single keeper.

Bonfire and glow sticks what more could you want??

Tide pooling we found lots of start fish and snail shells.

The kites were fun for a few minutes but the girls got bored fast so Nona had to take over!

We hit the cheese factory on the way home for some ice cream. The girls liked to wave at the workers and of course the cheese samples!

We were not ready to come home at the end. What a wonderful week we had.
