Addilynn did great in her first meet this year. She placed great in all her events. I wish we had a bigger place for her to practice its pretty tight quarters in the living room!

She also received fist place overall She had so much fun I’m so glad she has found something she enjoys!
The tradition continues! We had another great year picking out a tree and making cookies! The girls both lasted a lot loner than previous years and the weather was so nice that we didn’t even need snow boots!
I’m assuming our little cheese ball was telling a great story since all eyes are on her!
The girls both made some pretty perfect cookies and even dad joined in at the end to add a few to the mix.
Getting the tree in the stand is always easier when you have a Marshall to help you out.
The girls had a wonderful time continuing on the tradition. Addilynn (who has attachment issues) loved the tree so much that it was a week long process preparing her for the goodbye. The last day right before we had to take it out of the house we all had to hold hands around it and say “spirits” to the tree. We sang songs and moved in a circle around it and then without tears we said goodbye! It went pretty well considering this is the girl who cant throw away paper scraps because they are special to her! Paisley on the other had didn’t seem to care at all.
Don’t forget to enjoy every moment of it! We LOVE having the family we have and are so lucky to spend time with all of them. I know I know I’ve been posting a lot about family but isn’t that what life is about??? I catch myself complaining sometime that we have no time and are always busy. I’m finally learning that being busy is what life is about. This December we got some life shattering news. All we can do is live each day like its our last and love the people that are in it. Thank you family for being part of our lives! So when you see my camera in your face know that I don’t care what you look like. All I care is that I have memories for my kids and their kids to come. I know it can be awkward always getting photos snapped, but the selfish side of me doesn’t care! I want to remember you no matter what you looked like. Now on that note I need to dust the camera off and start snapping again its been too long!
