Back to work again!

We have been very busy this last week! Addilynn is 8 weeks old now and is a kick in the pants! She has learned how to laugh and smiles all the time! Everyday she amazes me and gets so big. This weekend we went to Lewiston for Denise and Eric's wedding and Addilynn got to meet another great great grandma. Grandma Eldora. She was pretty fussy at first but in the end she ended up getting to hold a smiley baby after a little food. Boy oh boy the things you can do with food! We put together her bouncy saucer and she loves it also she played in her jumperoo and loves it too! She is still a little too small for the saucer but since the weight limit is 25 lbs we thought we should get her into it or she would be too big before she turned 4 mos!
On a sad note, I went back to work on Monday. I am pretty torn because I remembered how much I love my job, but I miss my little baby so so much everyday it sucks! Each day gets better but I just think about how much I am going to miss. I also think that I am only going to get to see her for around 4-5 hours a day which makes me cry. Everyone says it wont be hard like this forever but I'm still waiting. The good news is I have four weeks of only working three days so that will be awesome!
Today we have to take Addilynn over to CDA to the pediatrician because of her belly button I wanted a second opinion because they keep telling me it is fine even through the seepage, bleeding, and stench (yes she was bleeding out of her belly button gross and scary HUH!). Now she has something poking out of it that reminds me of intestine. So if it is still "just fine" then I will give up but to me she shouldn't still be having issues with it after 8 weeks of life.
We will see. I'm sure I am being an over reacting mother again!
Here are some pictures from the last week:

Poem

My step mom told me about this poem and I think it is great

Mother, O Mother, come shake out your cloth,Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,Hang out the washing, make up the bed,Sew on a button and butter the bread.
Where is the mother whose house is so shocking? She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking.
Oh, I've grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue,Lullabye, rockabye, lullabye loo.Dishes are waiting and bills are past due Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo
The shopping's not done and there's nothing for stew And out in the yard there's a hullabaloo But I'm playing Kanga and this is my Roo Look! Aren't her eyes the most wonderful hue?Lullabye, rockaby lullabye loo.
The cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow But children grow up as I've learned to my sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs; Dust go to sleep!I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.
- Ruth Hulbert Hamilton

Soooo.... to all of you mothers out there. Don't worry about the little things, just worry about the time and memories you share with your little ones.
Addilynn is 7 weeks now by the way and getting bigger and bigger. We took her in today to have her thrush re evaluated (which was a waste of money and time since they say she is fine just me over reacting AGAIN) and she weighs 13lbs 12 oz. What a little piglet! I hope she slows down soon or she will have to start walking because she is getting hard to carry!

Family, Spider, and Mutch Creek

Addilynn got to meet her Great Great Grandma on Friday. Oh and another thing we found a Hobo Spider in our house, and for those of you who are doubting me right now think again because we took the nasty little arachnid into the county extension office and confirmed it. So now I'm scared to death that little miss princess will get bitten. So we have some work to do!

Then today we decided to take the doggies and the baby up to mutch creek. We walked/hiked for an hour and loved it! It is so nice to get up there again. It has been way too hot and today was perfect. It was sunny part of the way and was only about 60-65 degrees. Tonight we are going to watch the fights at Pete and Shena's then tomorrow is my Daddy's 45 bday so its dinner at the river for Addilynns Papa. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

6 weeks

Time is going by way to quickly. I think I say that every week but every week I just can believe another week has gone by and I'm that much closer to going back to work. She is getting so big. She is babbling more and she can even roll from her back to her side. She is changing everyday. It is funny to look back and see what she looked like at birth. Here are a few pictures from the last couple of weeks.

Bath time is always fun

This is a must for any new mom it is her boppy pillow, and she loves it! it is nice for just sitting around, feeding, tummy time and ohhh so much more!!!

two years!

I almost forgot... Dustin and I celebrated our Two year Anniversary yesterday. We had subway and sat around watching Addilynn! Who would have thought we would be where we are today 8 1/2 years ago when we met! Now we have our love and a new kind of love with our little princess.

One month old

This last week went by way too fast just like they all have! We had a very important weekend. Addilynn went to her first wedding. Bryan and Ashley got married in Orofino. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was great! It was very hot though and Addilynn got a heat rash which is very scary to see for a new mom! Now she spends most days naked and she really likes it! I hope that doesn't last into her older years :)
Kari took our first family photo then Nanny M (aka Maria) edited it for us. (Thanks for cutting out my giant arm by the way)

I love this picture. Maria took these two pictures and I'm pretty sure she should be a photographer on the side.

Other than the wedding it was pretty uneventful. We had a blast and I even let Jaylee babysit in the hotel for a few hours. I proved everyone wrong by the way!

three weeks/pictures

Well what a stressful night we had last night! Addilynn is now three weeks old which is exciting, but last night was the night from hell! We messed us her routine by taking her to get pictures at 7 at night which is a long story in itself and we wont get into that. She was completely crabby the whole time but we ended up getting some decent pictures. I just wanted to be done so did the photographer and Addilynn! Then she slept in the car the whole way home and through Target so obviously she wasn't tired when we got home! She did nothing but nurse, fuss, and eat bottles from 11-4:30. Boy oh boy am I tired! This is only her second bad night though so everyone deserves to be crabby every once in awhile! We still love her and can't wait to show off her first pictures. One word of advise to those of you who want to get pictures taken... don't schedule your appointment to be the last of the day because if it has been slow (like I'm guessing it was yesterday) they will sucker you into buying everything in the store so that they can "make the day" which means make the set amount they need for that day! All in all it was worth it and thanks to my Dad and Lisa for the huge gift of helping with pictures. That was very very nice of you... too nice!!!!

Here is one picture that we really liked the rest all need editing
