First Day of Ballet/Tap Class

She did great on her first day of dance and listened very well! 9/17/12 Thank you to Addilynns Grammy for buying her tap shoes and paying her registration fee and also thanks to Kaylynn for giving Addilynn her old ballet shoes. We are very appreciative.

We are now rid of the baby bath. I say this with a tear in my eye! Its so hard to say goodbye to all of these milestones. As of now we are done having kids so while Paisley is busy growing up I’m busy trying to keep her little. She loves the big girl bath with her sister and while I want her to stay a baby forever, I will admit that giving them a bath at the same time is a real time saver! Paisley loves to watch her big sister and loves to kick and splash in the tub. She is loving this new change in scenery.

Labor Day Weekend

Labor day weekend was Dustin and I’s 10 year class reunion. We had a lot of fun hanging out with classmates and good friends. The kiddos had a great time at the carnival. Addilynn rode the rides for the first time. She didn’t want to try the roller coaster but she did ride the fish and the pirate ship! Auntie Paige and Jaylee rode some of the rides with them. Addilynn loves getting her face painted so Grammy bought her a face painting and auntie Jaylee and Grammy waited in line forever waiting their turn. Papa Ralph even waited patiently! It was a great weekend. My mom was able to stay Friday and Saturday so mommy and daddy could enjoy themselves! We owe Grammy BIG time!

Welcome to the County Fair!

Addilynn finally got to get her pretty pink, light up cowgirl boots dirty! This was Miss Paisley’s first trip to the fair but Addilynn is a professional! Addilynn’s favorite part was this goat and the snow cones and Paisley just enjoyed all the fresh air and cuddles. You can’t take a baby out in public without a few cuddles!

Becoming a BAD Blogger!

Let me start by saying it’s not easy being a bad blogger! It haunts me everyday but I still can’t find the time to update. Right now I’m multitasking just to get a few words in. Here are a few pictures from a long time ago when I tested my hand at newborn photography! They may not be the best, but they sure did save me a bundle while I’m not working fulltime.

Addilynn has been very busy lately. She never stops talking for the most part but she has such a cute voice, between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm I don’t mind! We have still failed in getting her in to her three year old well check appointment so no new stats on her but someday I swear she will get in! She sailed through the Preschool screening but didn’t get in as a three year old. She is still on the waiting list (and has been since she was less than two months old) but should get in next year as a 4 year old which I think will be better anyway! She is starting a new preschool/daycare in October and is getting excited, but will miss her old daycare horribly. She was asked to cut with scissors at the screening, but before she grabbed them she asked, “is it ok if I play with these scissors Mom?” That goes to show she has never been allowed to play with them! I was nervous she wouldn’t know what to do with them, but she passed with flying colors. Needless to say she got a new pair of scissors that same day! Addilynn started gymnastics again last week and will start tap/ballet in another week. We are super excited for this new adventure!

Paisley has been doing wonderfully! She was put on prevacid last Thursday (Aug30th) due to her reflux. Lets just say we have a whole new baby! It’s so nice to see her smile, play, tolerate laying on her changing table, and sit contently for awhile. She was in so much pain before this is a huge relief for mommy and daddy! It’s pretty bad when the people that work at the store noticed she wasn’t screaming the last time I went in! She no longer sounds like a goat and she no longer screams for hours on end. We are even able to be in the car for a few minutes at least without a fit! She still has a hard time riding for long trips because she still gags when she is gassy but its not painful for her! Her gagging still takes her breath away but not near as much as before so we are happy. She goes in for a check tomorrow so we will see what the Dr. says. She is smiling now and even lets out a little squeal of excitement every once in awhile. She is holding her head up good and her legs are super strong!

Well time to burp the babe hopefully I will get some new pictures uploaded soon of our latest adventures! Carnival rides, more camping, and hunting trips!
