Picnics and Sunshine

Last Wednesday Dustin finally had a day off so we took full advantage of it. Breakfast, picnic, bike riding,, and the list goes on and on! We had a great sunny day together and it was definitely needed!!

This was from the day we went fishing (5/12/12). We only caught one bull head, but it was nice to be out enjoying the sunshine and each other!

Mother’s Day with My Babes

Not to brag but I had the most amazing Mother’s day EVER! I mean how could I not? I have the most amazing husband, the cutest little girl in the world, and a wonderful new life growing inside me. I loved every minute of it!

Saturday, Addilynn and I had our first tea party. Daddy’s work throws a mothers day tea every year so we decided to head down and have some yummy tea and muffins. Addilynn got to use a real tea cup and she managed to keep it one piece! I even won a spa facial just for being a part of the fun. It was so much fun just the two  of us hanging out.

Sunday morning Addilynn and I hung out then we went up to camp after Daddy got off work. Papa Jay, Auntie P, Dad, and Addilynn went on a 4-wheeler ride while Nona and I hung out in the sunshine. It was so relaxing I couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Odds and Ends

 

It has been awhile since our last update so here are a few pictures from some of the shenanigans we’ve been up to.

Addilynn sat through her first firework show (that she would remember) at Pete and Shena’s. The boat races were in town April 14 so St. Maries put on a small show. She wasn’t a big fan, but she made it through!

Dustin’s Birthday- We went to Spokane to a Shock game with our friends. It was nice to get out of town but since Dustin has to work weekends it was a quick trip over and back. We did get to eat dinner and it was nice to spend time with our friends that we have been missing so much!

Our first trip to the Dog House- Addilynn, Dustin, and I got to experience eating from a dog bowl! It was pretty fun and surprisingly good if you can get past the names of the dishes!

We got to spend time with some camp friends! Boy have we missed hearing “Auntie Rock” and his guitar. Can’t wait to spend more time with them all this summer! Addilynn loves the guitar and danced the night away.

My little rock star!  Addilynn has been learning to identify letters lately and currently knows what L, S, K, W, R, B, A, and T are. I can’t remember if she knows any others. She is getting more and more excited for the baby to get here and asks almost every day if the baby is going to come out today. I can’t wait until the day I can say “YES!” We went in for another ultrasound a couple weeks ago to check fluid levels, and everything looked good. Baby is still breech, but they reassure me that it still has time to flip, but I’ve been having nightmares that I end up with a C-section. Guess only time will tell! I only have 9 weeks and 2 days until D-day and we have nothing ready and none of our stuff located. Talk about stressing! My nesting instincts are starting to kick in but I have nothing to nest! I only wish it would improve my house keeping skills while my brain was at it. Last appointment baby’s heart rate was 120 and has been low the whole time unlike Addilynn who was always around 160. My guess is still girl but we still don’t know. I have been having a lot of low back pain and some “practice” contractions. Heartburn has been killing me and is even making raw spots on my tongue which makes meal time pleasant, but it is worth it. I get to feel a wonderful life inside me that  is growing more and more everyday. The baby hates pressure and usually fights back if anyone puts pressure on my belly. So I’m guessing it will be a fighter like it’s sister!

Finally an Easter Post

Saturday we went to the Easter Egg hunt!

Sunday the Easter bunny came! Addilynn got mermaid Dora that she had been asking for. “If I be good can I get Mermaid Dora?” She would say things like this all the time so finally she got what she wanted. Addilynn found all of the eggs and it was nice to get to hang out just the three of us!

We went to brunch at Mimi and Poppy’s then headed to Aunt Shelly’s for more fun. Addilynn got lots of goodies from everywhere and enjoyed the holiday thoroughly!

Easter Eggs!

Addilynn did great this year coloring Easter eggs. We got a neat painting kit that helped her participate even more. We ended up making a mess but it was worth it!

Trip to Visit Beau

Mobius Kids: Addilynn loved this place! Her and Beau ran around for about four hours and she still wasn’t ready to call it quits! Her favorite part was the water table and slides.

We went to Barnes and Noble and Addilynn got this paint book and a big sister book. We read it every day now. She has it memorized and can’t wait to be a big sister. While in Spokane we also went to Kindermusik which Addilynn also loved! She can’t get enough music so it fit perfectly. We had a blast and were so thankful we got to visit! Can’t wait to do it again!
