Busy July

Well July has started in a whirl wind. We have done a lot since my last post and I'm not sure what! I just know we have been busy. We went camping for the first part of the 4th and to bach parties that Saturday. Then we had Pete and Shena's wedding which was a blast, Family photos with Nanny M, Car club dance, and a short 4wheeler ride this Sunday. I'm not sure we have had time to even notice that July is most of the way over! It isn't stopping now either! We have a float trip this weekend, bach parties then next and then we are into the month of August. AHHHHHH Among all of this fun we have had a teething baby the last couple weeks which hasn't been the best of our times with our one year old. She is finally starting to feel a little better but it comes in waves. She didn't have any medicine last night and did good so we will see how tonight goes.

These are some pictures of what it looks like when you are trying to get all three members of the Turner family to smile at the same time! Notice I look the exact same during the entire photo shoot while he does the work :) 7-18-2010

Im still up and shouldn't be

Hope this works if not I will try again next week

playing catch up

So hmmm where to start

First off I have been a total slacker and had zero time on the computer. These last couple of weeks have been a blur. It started with Addilynn's party. So much fun! It was perfect. Thanks to everyone who was able to make it and all the wonderful gifts she is one spoiled monster! Then I left for Seattle and had my first big stay away from the baby. I didn't see her from Tuesday night to Saturday morning. It was very hard but I was so busy it helped a ton. Then we went camping and uncle Dj decided it would be a good idea to scare the living daylights out of us. Wednesday we had a play date with Shena Holly Jo and Blayze. It was way more fun now that they are both mobile. The last one was kind of a flop :) Now its Friday already again and I have no idea where the week has gone. We have nothing ready for camp and my house is a total disaster. Addilynn is teething again (happy happy joy joy) This time it is molars the best kind. Nanny M is finally home and I am hoping I will get to see her soon because it is driving me nuts knowing she is here and I haven't seen her. AHHHHH I need one more day in the week to play catch up. Tomorrow we start fun Fridays 6:30 - 2:00 without a lunch so I better get my tail off the computer and get some rest! All in all we have been enjoying summer to its fullest and have no open weekends until the end of it. I feel exhausted just thinking about it!
Oh and one last thing:
I will try to get some pictures up of her bday party ASAP

Nose blowing

Surprise surprise Addilynn has another cold! I'm starting to wonder if she really does just have really bad allergies. I've heard babies don't get allergies but who knows! Anyway her nose has been running like a faucet so we were trying to get her to blow it but instead of blowing she spits with her tongue thinking she is blowing. She is making the sound but not quite getting it! It is the funniest thing. I love all the fun things she is doing these days.

Sick baby/daycare updates

So as some of you know Addilynn started going to daycare. She likes playing with the kids and it seems to be going good. I still worry that she isn't getting the attention she needs and worry about lots of other things too but I guess that is normal.
She has been really sick again and I'm getting so frustrated. I just want her to be healthy for a solid month. Can't wait for summer! This has been at least a 4 week virus that has just recently ended with pink eye a cough that sounds horrible, and an ear infection. LOVELY! Dustin and I pretty much have to hog tie her to get the goop in her eyes. She has super human strength when she doesn't want to do something. Almost all the kids I know have had this same crazy virus all ending in sinus infections and ear infections so how do I keep her from getting sick? I wash her hands I try to keep her away from the sickies but nothing works. Oh well it is a losing battle I guess!
Her walking has slowed down a bunch but I'm wondering if it is because of her ear infection. Who knows maybe she has realized she gets places faster if she crawls! She is saying more words now and we are working on teaching her parts on the face but not much progress yet!
