Paisley Louise Turner

On Friday July 13th 2012 our little peanut was born. Paisley Louise Turner arrived at 6:48 weighing in at 8lbs 1 oz and 20 1/4 inches long.

Labor was much easier this time then with Addilynn, and we shared this birth with an audience. Addilynn loves her sister just like we knew she would and she is by far the best big sister I've ever seen. She is a big helper and hasn’t shown many signs of jealousy. When she got to meet her little sister for the first time. She said, “thank you Dr. Woodall! Thank you!” and you can imagine the tears that were flowing from mamas eyes. She was so proud to show her off to everyone that came in the room. She also explained to Dr. Woodall that “hims pee pee fell off!” which got a roar of laughter from all the tear filled eyes. It couldn’t have been a more perfect meeting of sisters! I love them both so much it hurts! The hardest part of the whole journey was picking a name for our little girl. Mommy had a hard time adjusting to the name Paisley. Daddy loved it so we finally went with it about an hour before leaving the hospital. SO… Miss Paisley if you don’t like your name blame Daddy!! (wink wink)

Trying sisters hat on!

That is a big bink for such a small baby!

Going home! Addilynn picked this outfit out from Country Fair all by herself. We also picked out a boy outfit too that we of course returned!!

Home sweet home! Proud Daddy

Addilynn burping her little sister taking her big sister responsibilities very seriously

Thank you friends and family for visiting us and spending the grueling hours of labor making me laugh and helping me along the way. Thank you Nanny M for capturing moments we could have never seen (Those pictures to come). We appreciate everyone and everything everyone has done for us.

The week of the 4th

Since the 4th fell on a Wednesday Daddy had time off! We stayed at camp Tuesday night and Wednesday night. The weather was nice and we got to go for a ride and sit in the creek! Addilynn had fun as usual and it was our last stay at camp just the three of us!

Playing at the river!

Water balloon fight! I won of course!

Sam’s bridal shower. Addilynn, Harlen, and Camber had a blast playing in the pool.

Grammys Birthday celebration. We went to Joe and Rondi’s for moms birthday. We got to watch Keith light a lantern just like in the movie Tangled! Addilynn thought that was the neatest thing until one of the kids went to light a bottle rocket that the dog attacked and shot right under the pickup she was in. Then she was ready to go home! She’s not much for fireworks!

Addilynn is 3!!

This year for Addilynn’s birthday we had a circus themed kids party! The colors were rainbow, and we had face painting, fishing pond, hoop shoot, ring toss, and make your own ice cream. The fish pond was the big hit! The weather was great (minus the wind when we were setting up), and the kids had a blast! Addilynn was asking for snakes, party hats, knives, and a stepstool for her birthday. She got the snakes from B, Ashley, and the boys and got some party hats from Sharon a lady that Dustin works with! Unfortunately for dad she didn’t get any knives! Addilynn has been so excited to be three. I try to tell her she needs to be two again and she giggles and says, “I can’t mom I’m three. I’m bigger now!” I wish she wasn’t in such a hurry to grow up.

Addilynn received a ton of great gifts from everyone. Once again she was spoiled rotten! Thank you to everyone who made it a point to share her special day. Also thank you to everyone who helped make cupcakes, cake, help with the ice cream stand, paint faces, bring things, and clean up. We really appreciate everything that everyone has done. We couldn’t do it without you!
