State Champs

We had a great day today. The girls took first at state!!!! Auntie Jaylee did great. Addilynn didn't get to go trick or treating but we did put her costume on for a second and take a picture! Next weekend grandma Mary will do Halloween with chili and Addilynn will get her chance to trick or treat! We got to hang out with Nanny and Bapa between games which was nice too! I made Addilynn a shirt and headband that was a big hit but I forgot to account for drool so the green got everywhere when it got wet! Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween.

new pictures

Since my last post I have gotten on the ball and taken new photos! I even tried to take some "professional" ones that didn't turn out like the picture in my head. I think I should leave the photography to the professionals. Yesterday went good Addilynn surprised us all and didn't cry during the shots until the last one was on its way out! Then she was done after a couple cries. What a tough little girl I was a bigger baby than she was.

I wanted to use Kellsi's bouquet as a nice prop but I didn't do a very good job and everything I tried Addilynn wanted to eat it. So I had to take them all away! Well everything checked out yesterday and now she is 16lbs 14oz and 25 inches long... growing like a little weed! Tomorrow is annual planning and I can't wait to see what our surprise is then Saturday is state! GO JACKS GO!

It has been awhile!

I have been a bad mommy the last couple of weeks. I have taken a total of three pictures of Addilynn the last two weeks and they are all in the same pose. Boo hoo I've missed so much she has grown so quickly. We have been pretty busy the last couple weeks and we aren't slowing down for another couple but I will try my hardest to keep up on pictures!

This weekend was Kellsi's wedding we had a blast. Addilynn slept most of the time and didn't really get to mingle with anyone. Next weekend is state for auntie Jaylee in CDA and Halloween! I hope we get to go trick or treating with the turd! Then the next weekend is Kevin and Amy's wedding then I think we get to take a breather right before the Thanksgiving rat race! Hope everyone is having a great week tomorrow is more immunizations and we get to see how big the turd is now that she is four months old! I think the only new trick she has learned since the last post is grabbing her feet! Talk to you all soon

New tricks

This week Addilynn learned a couple new tricks and had a couple firsts! She tried green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, and squash this week. She was very shocked the first time she tasted real food!
The night we fed her carrots or sweet potatoes I can't remember, she taught herself to spit. I got a shower of orange and she thought it was pretty funny! She does it all the time now. She also has been chewing on her bottom lip which she learned from her dad (I hate it by the way). She is so funny. She is also trying to teach herself to crawl but she is not coordinated enough yet it is more like a seal flop. It is still pretty cute though.
Tomorrow is Kellsi's bachelorette party. I am excited to go but also sad to be so far from baby. Everyone says it is good to get away every once in awhile but it is so hard! She is going to a football game with aunt Shelly and hanging out with her till about three then my mom is picking her up for a sleepover.
Last but not least, we are starting to teach Addilynn sign language. We will see if it works and how long we stick with it! She probably wont make her first sign until she is about six months but we are starting early. She has been ahead of the game in everything else so why not communication?

picture day/goodbyes/football

I love my dad

This week was crazy! Picture day UGH... I am never going to Sears again. That lady which was the same lady as last time was crazy. She couldn't get Addilynn to smile. If you have ever been around her that is not hard, and she wouldn't let my sister help. She kept making her get back. The only smiles we got out of her were because of Auntie Doris. Then she put her fingers in her mouth. DURING COLD AND FLU season she put her nasty dirty bacteria filled fingers in my precious angels mouth. That was the end of it. I hated her after that I spent $50 there and left. I shouldn't have even done that but I wanted to get a couple pictures at least. We want Nanny M (Maria) she would do a better job taking pictures than that stinky old lady.
We had to say goodbye to great great grandma and grandpa Harris yesterday. They are going home to Indio and not returning next summer. Hopefully we will get to go there and visit. GGgma Harris will miss Addilynn and Addilynn will miss her. She is so calm around her. She says it is because she has had more practice!! She got to fall asleep and eat in her gggma Harris' arms one last time before they left.

We had Paige's last soccer game this week too. Auntie P has said she is done forever with soccer. Since you can't see me I will explain what I'm doing when I say that. My fist is thrusting in the air approximately 5 times and I have a giant grin on my face.
Sorry all you soccer lovers but my heart is set on volleyball and I can't wait to see her play! After her game we went out for a celebratory dinner at the Junk. There goes my diet because you can't go to Junction and eat a salad it's just not possible.
No home games for Auntie Jaylee or Uncle Dj this week maybe next week.
Today is football day again. I can't decide if I'm excited or not. I do love my friends but I like to sleep and be lazy on Sundays too!
Here are a few pictures from this week. Hope you enjoy
All dressed up going to Auntie P's last soccer game EVER!!! She had many layers on so she wouldn't freeze!
Headband made by me that she wore during some of her pictures. Next one I make the flower will be a little smaller but I still thought it was cute
After eating her morning snack. Her face kills me!!! Family picture before heading to Clarkia Saturday. Addilynn is 3 1/2 months old
Another homemade headband. I love them but a lot of family members don't.
Sleeping in her seat on the way to Clarkia to visit family.

My friend Beau

This weekend Beau came to play with Addilynn and this time she was actually awake when he got here! We had lots of fun taking pictures of the two of them together. I can't wait to see how they both grow and interact! Addilynn has been pretty cranky the last couple days and we think she might be teething. She also is puking a lot more than usual which isn't much fun. We both go through a lot of outfits in a day! The pediatrician says it has to get worse before it gets better so we will continue to wait for the better. In the meantime we just watch and make sure she is gaining weight still. She has been rolling over like mad lately too. The first time was Sept 26th and it was very challenging for her. She grunted and tried for about 20 seconds before she flipped over from her back to stomach and now she does it all the time. Twice today when I was trying to put her down for her nap I went in to check on her all I could see through the crack in the door was her little head bobbing up and down! I don't think we will be able to keep her on her back to sleep for much longer!

Addilynn has gotten very spoiled by her daddy! She has him wrapped around her finger and whenever she cries he stands up with her!

She grew ears over the weekend!

Learning to sit up now she was propped in the corner but kept leaning out and grabbing for her toys! She loves playing with toys

My little rainbow bright!

What did I do mom??? He isn't happy about this pose!

This is MY Beau! Stand back people!!!

1st taste of cereal

The last couple weeks have been pretty busy. Addilynn had her first taste of cereal and she liked it until it got cold that is! She started gagging herself once it got cold. She also hasn't realized that it is food and we can't shovel it in fast enough. She also started going to the babysitter which is working out great. I miss her on my lunch breaks, but she really loves Amanda so I am so happy we have her. We have been going to games like crazy and went camping this weekend for Lisa's birthday. We had a blast. Everyone and their dog is sick in this town so I really hope princess doesn't get it. Time is flying and She is 3 months old now. I just can't believe it.
