Addilynn is 3!!

This year for Addilynn’s birthday we had a circus themed kids party! The colors were rainbow, and we had face painting, fishing pond, hoop shoot, ring toss, and make your own ice cream. The fish pond was the big hit! The weather was great (minus the wind when we were setting up), and the kids had a blast! Addilynn was asking for snakes, party hats, knives, and a stepstool for her birthday. She got the snakes from B, Ashley, and the boys and got some party hats from Sharon a lady that Dustin works with! Unfortunately for dad she didn’t get any knives! Addilynn has been so excited to be three. I try to tell her she needs to be two again and she giggles and says, “I can’t mom I’m three. I’m bigger now!” I wish she wasn’t in such a hurry to grow up. 

Addilynn received a ton of great gifts from everyone. Once again she was spoiled rotten! Thank you to everyone who made it a point to share her special day. Also thank you to everyone who helped make cupcakes, cake, help with the ice cream stand, paint faces, bring things, and clean up. We really appreciate everything that everyone has done. We couldn’t do it without you!

Camping with the Tweets 6/12/2012

We got to go camping as a family for two whole nights together! Last Tuesday and Wednesday night we got to enjoy some camp time with our good friends and their twins. Dustin and I came home Thursday unexpectedly because Addilynn was sick. She threw up all over the camper Wednesday night and then started to run a fever Thursday. We figured it would be better to be home! Then it was back to camp Friday for the rest of the weekend!

Addilynn got to shoot a gun for the first time! She also roasted a hot dog which I believe is the reason she got sick! I know they are pre cooked, but it had been sitting out for way too long (bad mommy) and then her roasting skills didn’t quite get it heated that well! Lets just say we are a little leery to give her hot dogs now.

This was the jump that took them both out! They did pretty good though! What a fun thing to do at camp!

I really wish this last picture wouldn’t have been so smoky. It turned out good of both of them and of course the one that didn’t have smoke in it miss A had her fingers in her mouth. Which is a new habit she picked up somewhere. Mommy isn’t a fan of it!

Gymnastics Recital

This Saturday Addilynn had her recital. It was so much fun for everyone who came to watch her tumble and dance. She did AMAZING, but of course I am totally biased! Addilynn got to wear makeup which was very hard to see my baby looking so grown up! The theme was circus and she was on stage for the opening, her routine, and the finale. Her instructor Dani did a fantastic job and got rave reviews from us and my family on her choreography. Addilynn was ready to do it again as soon as she was done! Next year baby girl, next year! She did so good at 2 I can’t wait to see what she can do at 3!

I will say I do want a new camera it did horribly and I didn’t get very many good pictures. It does great outside and with a flash but in low light and no flash it stinks!!! We will see if we can convince Dad!

Thank you to Gma and Gpa Sines, Gma and Gpa Price, Nana, Gma and Gpa Turner, Kari, Kadee and Justin, Dj, Paige, Jaylee, Ashton, Nona and Papa, Grammy, Janee, and anyone else that I didn’t get to talk to that came to support her! I really hope I’m not missing anyone!

Jaylee’s Graduation 6/2/12

I can’t believe my little sister is a high school graduate! The day kind of snuck up on us. It seems like only yesterday she was a little girl and now she is so grown up! I guess that is what happens. Little girls grow up we are experiencing that first hand now!

Addilynn just had to find the dirtiest thing she could at the party! She loved jumping in the water from the coolers! I guess it could have been worse!

Memorial Weekend 5/25/12

Our first big camp weekend! The weather was good, we got in a few good rides, and enjoyed some of our favorite people. Addilynn had a lot of fun playing with Taylor, it was the first time I was able to see my little girl acting like a big girl. They were pals all weekend long and she didn’t seem to need her mommy! It was so cute to see the two of them talking like adults and going off to play. One night the two of them had glow sticks and were running around camp until at least 11 at night! I can’t believe my little girl isn’t so little anymore.

Grandma Mary and Papa Murl were there and Addilynn was able to sneak many cookies from grandma’s cookie jar! One morning she woke up and the first words out of her mouth were, “can I go get my cookie from grandma now?” The little goofball!

This was the first weekend daddy had to drive back and forth to work in order to hang out with his family at camp. It was tough not having him around for all these memories, but we still got to see him at night. It was hard on him to stay up late and go to work early but he managed and we are so glad he did! Can’t wait until our next trip.

First Night at Camp 5/22/12

We took the camper up on Tuesday night before memorial weekend so we could get it ready for a long weekend of camping. Although it was a short and rainy trip we were very happy to be in our home away from home once again. We spent most of the time in the camper playing play-Doh, doing puzzles, and coloring, but it was great just the three of us. This was Addilynn’s sun. She did it all by herself.
