Paisley’s Birthday Bash
Almost a month later I am sharing Paisley’s birthday pictures! What a blur the last year has been.
Paisley doesn’t like to look at the camera so I didn’t get the pictures I had hoped but we do what we can! Addilynn, Harlen, and Camber found an alternative for the decorations.
Paisley wasn’t too sure about her candle and even tried to grab it a couple times. She dug into her cake slowly at first but then she realized it was delicious and started shoveling it in.
Presents were a flop because Paisley was pretty exhausted by this point, but found a renewed energy when she found a puddle from the ice draining. This was by far Paisley’s favorite thing!
Thank you to everyone that was a part of her special day! I can’t say enough how much it means to us. Can’t wait to see what Paisley brings us in the next year.

Camping with Nona and Papa
Since I’ve taken some Thursdays off to spend time with Dustin we’ve tried to go camping a couple times. This time we went the week after the fourth and Nona, Papa, and Paige were at camp! The trip didn’t start out very promising because on the way to camp we got a flat tire on the four wheeler trailer. Easy fix right? NO! The spare wasn’t the right one and after a long time trying to figure out what to do, a complete stranger saved us. Some guy stopped and asked if we wanted to borrow the tire off his trailer so we could get it to the shop. Thank goodness for people who stop to help.
We weren’t sure how Paisley would like the ride since her exposure to four wheelers hasn’t been as much as her big sister at this age. She loved it! We went and played in the water and visited with my parents.
We even got to pick some huckleberries. Nona kept Paisley so Addilynn, Dustin, and I could meet Papa and Paige to pick. It was so much fun. It was so nice to get to visit with my parents and enjoy ourselves as a family as well. Even after our rough start it ended up being a wonderful trip!

6/23/13 She woke up looking so much older…
On Addilynn’s actual birthday Dustin and I took her over to Coeur d’ Alene on an “all about Addilynn” day! Little sissy stayed home so we could enjoy our big girl by herself. On the day she turned four she woke up looking like a big girl. She talked to her auntie Jaylee on the phone like a grown up, she scooted around on her scooter from Doe and Levi like a grown up, and she even got her ears pierced like a grown up. She amazes us every day with her spunk and character. I’ve said it before and I will say it again she is such a smart, pretty, considerate, emotional, caring little thing. I can only imagine what she has to offer this word.
While we waited for daddy to get off work we played outside and goofed off. No one can resist a sprinkler! Even if you are still in your pajamas.
This was one of the last pictures of Addilynn and her “virgin” ears. The bottom picture is after she got them pierced.
After the piercing was over we went and ate some pizza with auntie P and auntie Jaylee. Addilynn got to order her first soda. She wasn’t a fan of root beer since that is the best “dental” choice but I traded her and she loved my sprite!
Addilynn got to see her first movie at the theaters on her fourth birthday. She watched Monsters University. She made it through but was really sleepy at the end. She loved the popcorn. It was a pretty emotional milestone for this mama and I’m not sure why. Maybe because I know that her innocence wont last much longer or maybe its because I know she wont need me someday. I can say I am so thankful for my big 4 year old and I couldn’t have asked for a better big girl! We love you so so much miss Addilynn Grace.

Addilynn Turns 4
Addilynn had a Sugar Rush (Wreck it Ralph) birthday party. She had so much fun. We appreciate the friends who brought their kiddos to play. Especially the ones who had to drive to town it was super thoughtful! We rented a bounce house and it was a huge hit with the little ones. Definitely worth the money to keep them entertained!!
Thank you so much to everyone that helped me out! I couldn’t have done it without you! Thanks mom for the cake and helping with decorations, thanks Doris for doing all my printing, thanks to the in-laws for letting us use your house, and thanks to Bri for helping decorate as well. I hope I’m not forgetting anyone!
Beau needed to be free in order to jump! Can you blame him? Pants are completely over rated!
Thank you Linda for doing such an amazing job on the cake! Addilynn loved it and loved eating Vanellope!
